TEXT: ROMAN 5
Grace is God’s undeserved and unmerited favor. It is a situation when you don’t get what you deserve. It is so gigantic it exceeds our ability to measure it. (Romans 5: 17) It is abundant; it is given without a hitch, without strings attached and without measurement. It keeps on giving every moment of every day, throughout our entire lives. Grace is God stooping and bending to us without our having done anything to merit His doing this. God acts completely out of his own will without any thing on our part. Ephesians 2 tells us that even when we were dead, not sick, not in good shape, not because we were attractive, but when we were dead, He stooped and bent to us. Romans tell us that while we were enemies Christ died for us and this favor continues on and on after we have received it initially.
Grace is a place of hope that we gained access to by faith, in which we now stand. In that grace place God pours out His love into our hearts. In this amazing place of grace, when we are in this relationship with God, He pours His love more and more into our hearts. We learn more and more how much He loves us and we love Him more and more as a result. When He pours His love into our hearts, we start to love what He loves. We start to catch His passions, we catch His longings and we catch and begin to notice those He loves.
Grace is that realm, where God’s care and blessing and covering is over you. It is that joyous, peaceful, victorious realm that is for those who have faith in Christ. Grace is a free gift and we cannot pay it back. It is just God’s favor. When we understand Grace and allow God to express it and equip others in it, we are transformed by the renewing of our mind and our feelings about God will change. It will revive our intensity, grace will come to our rescue in bad situations and we will be able to spread the grace to others.
Beloved children of God, amazing grace is when someone dies in the place of their enemy and that exactly is what lead Jesus to offer His life in the place of people who hated and despised Him. God reconciled us to Himself while were enemies of God. We can imagine how awesome God will be to us now that we are not longer enemies but are now his friends.
May the Lord provide His grace through protection from the harm that seems to come to us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. May the Lord give us strength to get through each day.. Lord, I pray Lord that you cover us in grace for healing and for direction. Lord, may Your desires be our desires in Jesus Mighty Name.
PRAISE THE LORD!
