WHERE ARE YOU IN THE LORD? PT.1

ACTS 8:1-3

Where are you in the Lord? In other words, Are you in the Lord? Are you in the race for the kingdom of God? As the end of the year draws near, it is time for soul-searching. It is time for us all to ask ourselves these questions and make amends as necessary. No matter how bad the situation is, Jesus is ready to accept us and cleanse us of our iniquity. Before becoming one of the greatest evangelists, the Bible tells us in Acts 8:1-3 that Paul known as Saul, a Pharisee and devout Jewparticipated in the persecution of Christians. He sought to quiet the followers of Jesus Christ and persecuted those who reverenced the Lord. Paul traveled from Jerusalem to Damascus to seek out and arrest Christians, with the intention of questioning them and possibly killing them. Their journey was interrupted when Paul saw an intense light and spoke directly with the Lord. Paul later became a humble, powerful witness for Jesus Christ. No other person in the Bible demonstrated more humility while sharing the gospel of Christ other than Paul (Philippians 3:1-11).

Beloved children of the Most High God, the race for the kingdom is not a fast one but a marathon which means it is a daily affair. One may be in the race today and not be in the race the next day. Are you in the race?Enlisting in the race for the kingdom of God requires complete surrender to Jesus, our mediator who desires our complete loyalty and allegiance to only Him. He forbids placing anyone or anything else above Him. (1 Timothy 2:5) Are you in the Lord? Surrender to Jesus TODAY!

PRAYER FOCUS. God help us in our daily lives that we won’t give in to temptations despite our struggles. Lord, please make us hear more of You at times when we see no direction towards our way.
