The Pastors

Pastors Rachel and Tunde Olufade joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in 1997, as foundation members of the RCCG Dominion Cathedral Parish in Orange, New Jersey.  At Dominion Cathedral, they both served in various capacities before moving to Columbus Ohio, where they continued serving at the Triumphant Chapel in Columbus.

Pastor Rachel Olufade trained as a Church Worker while serving at the RCCG Dominion Cathedral, Orange, New Jersey in 1998. She was ordained a Deaconess in June 2000 and then ordained a Pastor in June 2007 at the RCCG World Convention in Dallas, Texas by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye. As a lifelong learner, she has participated in several ministerial courses, and continues to attend training at the ministry’s seminary (Redeemed Christian Church of God, North America Seminary) and leadership Institute (The Redeemer Leadership Institute, RLI).

Pastor Rachel Olufade is married to Pastor (Dr.) Babatunde Olufade and they are blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren. Together, they planted a new parish, RCCG The Abundant Life Chapel,  on the 10th of  June, 2007. The Abundant Life Chapel is a mission of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Pastor (Dr.) Tunde Olufade serves as a minister of God in the Redeemed Christian Church of God as well. In his own words, he shares that, “I live a productive life as a frontline Church activist and philanthropist working in the Lord’s Vineyard!”. He loves to read the Bible, and enjoys engaging with literary works. He believes in leading out of the overflow of one’s walk with God. He cherishes the fear of God and values being an individual of high integrity, upholding trustworthiness and honesty. Pastor Olufade shares that he would love to be remembered for facing and surmounting challenges, rather than shying away from them.
