GALATIANS 5:22-23

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity (God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit) and was present at and actively involved in the creation of the world, moving over the face of the deep to bring about form (Gen. 1:1-2, 26-27). When we become Christians and accept Christ in to our lives, He takes up residency within us by His Holy Spirit and each of us become a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The fruit of the Spirit is the spontaneous work of the Holy Spirit in us and produces the character traits that are found in the nature of Christ. God wants us to be people of love, joy and peace. He wants to build endurance into our lives and instill in us compassion for those who need our help. He wants to breathe into us the qualities of humility, generosity, integrity and self-discipline. Faithfulness is about demonstrating integrity and showing a strong, steady and consistent character. Gentleness corrects (II Timothy 2:24-25), resolves quarrels and can win the lost. In witnessing to unbelievers, gentleness is a necessary trait. I Peter 3:15 says “but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.” Gentleness is strength submitted to God and is love touching.

Beloved children of the Most High God, if you feel defeated in life as most people are today because of the very bad and tough situation around you, be encouraged and be filled with the Holy Spirit and He will give you a new love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness. PRAISE THE LORD

PRAYER POINT: Our Father and our Lord, fill us with the Holy Spirit and cause the fruit to ripen in our lives – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
