ISAIAH 43:18-19

Children of the Most High, God wants to do a new thing in our lives as we move into the New Church Building. New Beginnings start when we realize that we are powerless to change ourselves, but we look to God for an encounter with Jesus that can change us. Failures, frustrations, sins and sufferings, hurts and offences could have marked our journey. Sometimes we allow these mistakes and failures to enslave us to the point that we never enjoy the full Christian life that God has given us to enjoy. Whatever might have happened, we need to leave it all to the ocean of the mercy of God. We are called to trust Him for He promises to meet us where we are.

Beloved, our most important goal must be to get to know Jesus better and admit that we are not perfect. We must forget past failures, mistakes, broken resolutions and look forward to our future destiny in God. We must press towards developing our personal relationship with Jesus by praying more, seeking God’s guidance, wisdom and discernment as to how to fulfill the goals God gives us. We must read the Bible every day to honor God and grow spiritually. We must serve in the church and witness to others about Jesus. Many of us don’t tell anybody about our church or invite anyone to church, we don’t even live the life in our homes, offices, or schools that would attract people to our church, yet we want the church to expand. It is magic that can fill it without anything being done by anybody. We must get involved in missions, break a bad habit or stop a habitual sin and work on relationships with others! Love is not what you say, but what you do. John 15 12 says “this is my commandment. that you love one another as I have loved you”.

PRAYER POINT: My Father and my Lord, may the wind of the Holy Spirit blow away anything that can hinder me from experiencing a new beginning in Jesus Mighty Name, AMEN!
