VICTORY! VICTORY!! HALLELUIAH!!!

VICTORY! VICTORY!! HALLELUIAH!!!

EXODUS 14:5-31

Beloved, if you feel trapped and it appears that the enemy is winning against you, then it is time to praise the Lord. Exodus 14:13 reads, "And Moses said unto the people, fear not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which he will show to you today. For the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever". The Israelites were pushed to the point of disaster before their breakthrough came. They were slaves living under people who abused them. Then God sent Moses and hope came that the Lord would deliver them. Pharaoh rebelled against God and chased the Israelites in to the wilderness. The Israelites were caught between the Egyptian army on one side and the sea on the other, with no way out. Moses and the Israelites developed a terrible fear, so great that all they could do was cry out in terror to God. The fear caused them to be ruled by doubt rather than faith. Moses had confidence in God. v14: reads "The Lord will fight for you; you have only to keep still". The Israelites, just as we, need to learn, that God is the Lord of hosts, the God of protection, who is always with us, caring for us and looking out for us. Backed up against the Red Sea, Pharaoh’s mighty army was poised to vanquish them, but God stood between them as a cloud by day and fire by night. God opened the way through the Red Sea for the Children of Israel and let it fall on Pharaoh and his armies. God made the Israelites victors. Beloved children of the Most High God, the Israelites discovered that God was at work, rescued His people from an impossible situation and bring about a great victory. He is a miracle working God! Praise the Lord, Halleluiah.

PRAYER POINT: Father, please fight the battles of life confronting me today, and in every situation I will encounter this year, don’t let me be a victim but a victor. AMEN.
