REVELATIONS 19:1-16

Beloved children of the Most High God, the entire Christian world celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus during the last weekend! The only God who is known to have died decades ago but has NEVER being referred to as late (as in late Jesus-Alleluia) and the Only God who is EVER known to have resurrected! So who is this King Jesus? From the events that occurred the week before his death (passion week), Jesus can be described through His personality, presentation and purpose on earth. Our Lord Jesus Christ has a lowly and meek personality that we need to emulate (Matthew 11:29). He is an all-powerful God who created the world yet He was born in a manger and He chose to ride on a donkey the week before His crucifixion. He created all trees yet He died on a borrowed cross, He created every rock, yet He was buried in a borrowed tomb. Christ presented Himself as a common man (humility) surrounded by people who had nothing – procession of paupers, waving palm branches and not swords or guns. He was rich but made Himself poor for our sake and He died so that we all might live! His purpose on earth is to fulfill the scriptures, to bear our sufferings, sorrows and burden. Brethren, we need to emulate the Lord Jesus Christ in our day-to day living by first surrendering our life to Him and by doing His will so that His suffering and death on the cross will not be in vain. PRAYER POINT. My Father and my Lord, give me the grace throughout my whole life, in every thought, word, and work, to imitate your meekness and humility.
