Rev. 1: 8-11
Whenever God introduces Himself to us, He seeks to reveal a dimension of His person to us to
help us relate with Him better. The revelation of His name gives us a glimpse into the limitless
possibilities available in Him. One of such disclosures is when Jesus Christ is introduced in the
book of Revelation as the Alpha – Omega, the beginning, and the end. It is a revelation of His
authority, His Lordship and His capacity. He is the beginning and end of all things. He is not
merely before and beyond all things, He is the One that began the existence of all things; He
has the end of all things in Himself, and the distance between beginning and end is within Him
(Col. 1:16-19). Nothing has a chance of existing outside of Him, and nothing exists beyond His
allowance of that thing; not even the devil and his host (Rev.20:10). What a mighty God!
In His person as Alpha, the Beginning, He has authority to come into a situation and declare a
new beginning. As Omega, the End of all things, He also has absolute authority to declare the
end of any situation. When He comes into a life, it is within His capacity to cause things to end
and other things to begin. As the Ultimate Beginning, He has power and authority to declare
new beginning as He sees fit. He can enter a valley of dry bones and declare an end to death
and a new beginning of life. It is within Him to do. It is also the reason He comes into our lives
at salvation to end the reign of darkness and He creates a new creature, totally different from
the old. This is the reason why He is the One to run to for new beginning. He is the Beginning of
all things. He is the true Source of new beginnings. Call on Him today and see Him transform dry
bones into a mighty army.
Prayer focus: Alpha Omega, visit my life today with the power of new beginning and cause
season of affliction to end. I declare a new beginning in my life in Jesus name.
