Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and grandfathers. The Bible
commands us to “honor” our fathers and or mothers. The world we live
in has turned being a good father on its heels from abusive fathers to
work-acholic who do not spend much time with their children and are
guilty of not being there for the kids.
The world is under attack by Satan and his attempt to rid God from
the world. I want today’s Father’s Day to be a day of revival, renewal
and spiritual awakening! Ezekiel 37:10 says, “So, I prophesied as God
commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood
up on their feet—vast army.” You can be part of such an army as you
better understand your role as a man. We must pray for renewal that
God will put His spirit into all dead situations in our lives calling us back
to himself. (Ezekiel 37:14)
Hezekiah became king at the age of 25 years, reigned for 29 years and
had a personal close and growing relationship with God. He set a
standard for his community and did that which was good, right and
truth before the Lord. Fathers must set a standard for their children.
Hezekiah worked meritoriously in the service of the House of God and
did things that were pleasing to God regardless of what anyone else
thought. He obeyed God’s laws and commandments, seek God at all
times, served God with all his heart and was richly blessed and
prospered.
Jesus tells us above all to seek God first and when we do all
our needs will be met. Mathew 6:33 says “But seek ye first the kingdom
of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
you. He succeeded because of his commitment to God that God added
15 years to his life. (2 Kings 20:1-6)
PRAYER FOCUS. Father, please, bless Men of this Church, enlarge their
coast and keep evil, far away from their family, in the Name of Jesus
Christ.
