MATHEW 1:21-23
Merry and blessed Christmas to all brothers and sisters in Christ.
MATHEW 1:23 reads” Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us”.
The Hebrew word, “Emmanuel,” is so powerful: God with us, not the God who doesn’t care, not the God who is disinterested in His creation. God promises to be with us, not as an observer, but as a helper! Our God not only created us in His image, but He also came to live with us and to be with us. The Almighty, all-powerful- Omnipotent, Omniscience, Omnipresent God knows, sees, hears and identifies our needs and can meet our every need. Apostle Paul informed us in Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are — yet was without sin.” We should be encouraged that Jesus faced a full range of temptations without giving in to sin and can sympathize with us.
Beloved children of the Most High God, if God could close the lions’ mouth for Daniel, part the red sea for Moses, open the prison for Peter and raised Lazarus from the dead, then He can certainly take care of you. God who has been with you and took you from January to December 2019 will move you from shame to fame, insult to result, labor to favor and mockery to victory. We must hold on to God’s promises and finish strong!
MERRY AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
PRAYER POINT: Lord, I thank You for coming to earth so You could redeem me. I will be eternally thankful to You for everything You did to save me! I pray this in Jesus’ Name!
