HEBREWS 12:1-2

Brothers and sisters in Christ, even in the midst of difficulty, we must persevere if
we are to taste the joys of our reward. Mathew 10:22b reads “…He that endureth
to the end, shall be saved”. We must be willing to be wholly dedicated to our
walk with Christ. Christ will carry us through the difficulties in this life and will one
day welcome us home for eternity! Even in the midst of trials and adversity, we
must run with the faith that eventually, we will taste victory. The faith that God
formed everything that is in existence from nothing. He spoke the planets into
existence. The stars were hung by His word. The expanse of time was created by
Him. He separated water from atmosphere. He formed the vegetation. All species
of animals were spoken into existence by Him, and with His own breath, He
breathed life into mankind.

Beloved, we have witnesses to the faithfulness of God and the power of God and
must be willing to be wholly dedicated to our walk with Christ. Joshua led the
Israelites around Jericho to conquer the city without a single act of war watching
as the walls fell flat. Moses led the children of Israel through the Red Sea in to
safety with Pharaoh and his army trailing them. Hannah, despite her post-
menopausal age, gave birth to a child and raised that baby by faith in God’s ability
to surpass age and physical limitations and gave birth to the greatest and most
effective judge, prophet and counsellor in Israel. Enoch walked closely to God and
had such faith that God determined this world was not the place for him and
carried him to Heaven. Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet,
moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he
condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. By
faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the
promises offered up his only begotten son and was offered a sacrificial ram for a
burnt offering. (Genesis 22: 12-13)

PRAYER POINT: My Father and my Lord, bless me with the empowerment of the
Holy Spirit for salvation of my spirit, soul and body to be in dwelling in the Word
of God and for the Word of God to be dwelling in me.
