Psalms 93: 1-5
The Bible made us to understand that the Lord reigns in heaven and on earth Psalm 24:1 and Isaiah 66:1
made it very clear. Therefore, the Lord reigns in the affairs of men. In other words, there is nothing
happening in heaven and on earth which the Lord is not aware of, since both heaven and earth are His
domains.
Our passage today says, the Lord reigns in majesty, in splendor. Although the Lord reigns in majesty, yet
His domain is in so much chaos today, some of His children are in so much pain, joblessness, broken
hearts, broken homes, injustices everywhere and our world is in so much chaos and it seems as if He has
no control or He’s helpless or may be some evil forces have “dethroned” Him. The Bible in Ephesians 1:
11 made us to understand that “He works all things according to the counsel of His own will”. Be sure
brethren that “all things are working together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called
according to His purpose” are you one of those?
One thing is very certain brothers and sisters in the Lord that, the Kingdom of our Lord is established for
ever and His dominion is from generation to generation.(Psalm 145:13) Therefore, He is still in charge,
He’s still reigning and going by that scripture, He will reign for ever, because we know that His word can
not be broken, the question then is, Will you reign with Him after the expiration of your generation?
Because Genesis 6:3 and Hebrews 9:27 made it abundantly clear that no man will live for ever.
For every born again child of God, head or tail you win since your God reigns for ever, therefore there is
an assurance of eternity for you at the end of your sojourn here on earth and it is even a “gain” Philippians
1:21. But if you are yet to give your life to Him, the Lord is pleading with you today to let Him reign in
your life today so you can reign with Him when He returns.
Prayer Point: Father, whatever is in me that could deprive me of reigning with you eternally, please take it
away from me in Jesus name.
